Thanks for the info! I'll take a look at it. I'm still fighting with the CrossCompile and Linker flags. Also, you can add packages that conflict, which is no fun.
One thing that has me curious is that the standard, default build shows eight (8!) Ethernet ports on the box. Obviously, there are only the three, but makes me wonder if there aren't headers missing or something in the hardware. One thing I did notice about OpenWRT's default config is that it really wants Eth1 as WAN, Eth0 as LAN. I'm suspecting the Firewall is causing issues if you reverse them.
Well, the compile just finished and the linker issue seems to be fixed (it built out anyway, I've not tried it yet) and the default OpenWRT image is TINY (13189136 May 2 12:26 openwrt-octeon-generic-initramfs-kernel.bin) compared to the ITUS images, so we've got a ways to go.
Do you think we should keep the thread here, or close this one down and make a (better named) second one for active development?
*** Edit: I did want to mention I'm building this out as a 64-bit Kernel now, which seems to be working fine.
