It started making a high pitched noise. I have a spare shield so I'm using its psu but wanted to replace it.  I actually by chance had an old Technicolor tg582n router in my cupboard and that psu is exactly the right  voltage and tip. Outputs 1 amp rather than 0.35 buy it works great - and the only thing that router is useful for!
