That is weird. I was just wondering what to do with my (non-working, but not bricked) Shield, and here I am! I never could get it to work as an in-line IPS/IDS, but I love the idea of this little device doing all of that. Throughput wasn't a big concern, given the fairly low speeds available to me at the time (25/5 over coax), but even the idea of the extra headroom was welcome.
In regards to using a password manager, I have written a short tutorial on converting from built-in password manager in Firefox to KeePass, if anyone here not using a pw manager would like to read it and convert! :D
