Hi

It's been a while since hotfix_160309_final and these been several modification and improvements of the shield by members of this forum so i decided to put these into  hotfix _160528

just follow instruction and you should be fine.

The hotfix has the lastest
fw_upgrade 8.3.1 and all corresponding files
openssl ver 1.0.2h-1
new theme for the Shield which is new selectable between old and new theme
syntax errors corrected in files.

These files except the openssl and theme pack can all be found on github https://github.com/ItusShield

hotfix_160528.zip

You must have hotfix 160210  and 160309 installed before coping these files over to the shield.
All that these hot-fixes are just files that overwrite one's which are already there with modification / improvements. Saying that the two files ending in.ipk are installed with opkg.

unpack zip file to your computer

copy these files to the shields tmp folder

luci-theme-material_0.2.17-1_all.ipk
openssl-util_1.0.2h-1_octeon.ipk

change  folder to tmp on the Shield

cd /tmp/

run these commands by typing or cutting and paste straight into the command line

opkg install ./openssl-util_1.0.2h-1_octeon.ipk

once installed type

opkg info openssl-util

which will show that the openssl 1.0.2h-1 has been installed ( you are look at the version number is 1.0.2h-1).

type

opkg install luci-theme-material_0.2.17-1_all.ipk

this will install new themes

now copy the folders and one file
.hf_date
etc
sbin
usr
from your computer to the shields root folder, you will get a message about over writing files that is correct and proceed.

you must reboot now and then run fw_upgrade.

Once you have restarted the shield if you go to system --> system --> Language and style --> Design  you can now select which theme you want.

i've updated the post to reflect a mistake by me to include a file which shows the new firmware version date, the hotfix zip file now includes it but if you have already downloaded the hotfix just copy this file .hf_date and place in root folder overwriting old version, sorry for the mistake,
